2002 Montgomery County Employer of the Year

Amarex CEO Appointed to Montgomery County Workforce Investment Board
JULY 17, 2002 - Montgomery County Executive Douglas M. Duncan appointed Dr. Kazem Kazempour, President and Chief Executive Officer of Amarex Clinical Research, to serve as a member of the Montgomery County Workforce Investment Board (MCWIB). The appointment became effective upon confirmation by the Council for Montgomery County, Maryland on Tuesday July 30, 2002. As a member, Dr. Kazempour has become part of a national workforce development system which includes more than 600 other local workforce investment boards across the country that provide important policy guidance to their communities on key local workforce issues. In addition, this local workforce system currently serves over 25,000 citizens and more than 2,000 businesses each year.
